You have to be 150 meters from anything when building it. the fences and stuff could be the issue, you cant be near trees or deer stands. so the fences could be your issue.

night hit at barter island and i left in my merlin and about 600m out my heli blew up for no reason, another player went to pick me up and his heli blew up also. very irritated about this.
