i have 85k humanity and don't get any humanity for killing bots. Other Players on my Server with less humanity do get +/- humanity. So what is the limit?

try to start PMC in STEAM and afterwards origins. The PMC content is encrypted with a key and is stored in the Windows Registry. Seems you have the wrong key in the registry.

Hero level 4 - for killing 15 zombies 0 humanity.

I am a lvl4 Hero and was farming ivans, killed ~900 Zombies and got ~15k Humanity. So it seems to be the same as in the previous patches? I was expecting to not get any humanity from killing Zombies as a lvl4 Hero.

How can i upgrade the gates? I don't get an option to upgrade them.
