For those having issues with being disconnected or kicked from dayz origins servers, you will need to go to http://www.battleye.com/download.html and download the four Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead files. There will be four files in total. 1: BE Client for Windows (32 Bit) 2: BE Service for Windows (32 Bit) 3: BE Service for Windows (64 Bit) and 4: BE Server for Windows (32 Bit). Once you have downloaded all those files you will need to place them in two areas which should be the following locations. C: \Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Arma 2 OA C: \Progam Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\BEsetup Place all the files in both locations and execute the two exe files included in your download, then go back to C: \ProgramFiles (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\BEsetup and run Setup_BattleyeArma2OA.exe Now for some people who are new computers the C: \Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Arma 2 OA will be a hidden file. In order to make them accessible you will need to do the following. Go to control panel, then select Appearance and Personalisation, then under Folder Options select Show Hidden Files and Folders this will usually be located just under folder options on the right side. Once you have got there a window will pop up, you are looking for the small folder named Hidden files and folders underneath you will see two check circles you want to check the one that says Show hidden files, folders and drives. Once checked click apply and you should now be able to locate C: \Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Arma 2 OA. Once you have done all of the above there is one more thing you will need to do. If you have not downloaded the dayz origins 1.7.9.5 you will need to first download utorrent at http://www.utorrent.com Once you have installed utorrent you're almost ready to proceed with the download. Next you will need a .zip/.rar extraction program the best to use is located here http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-bit/ ... 07677.html and it is free. Now once you have winrar installed go here to download dayz origins 1.7.9.5 Be sure it is 1.7.9.5 as 1.7.9 WILL NOT WORK WITH THE NEW SERVERS!! Link is http://www.lagfreeservers.com/downloads ... at&catid=2 Before you download be sure that utorrent is running and select to open with winrar and simply click the torrent file and utorrent will do the rest for you. Now finally once you have downloaded all of the above you end up with a winrar file @Dayzorigins.zip you will need to be sure you right click and select extract files and point it to C: \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead. Ok now lets revamp, if you have not installed Arma 2 or Arma 2 OA you will not see these folders and this means you need to simply install both games. Once you have everything installed go to C: \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 and you will see a folder there that says Addons right click and copy this folder now you are going to go to C: \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\coomon\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead and paste the addons folder in to Arma 2 OA folder, once you have done that just follow the above and bam you're on your way to play.
