Players get kicked when they join our server (cfgdayz)

Hello!

We recently rented a new server. My friends and I have been playing on it without a problem. (At least after everyone updated to 1.7.9 and dumbed that damn commander...)

One of the things I noticed is that whenever someone new joins it says,

"X is connecting"
"X uses modified data file" (but I think this shows with everyone)

then either
"X has connected" or "cfgdayz:'Player X kicked off'".

Either way, if this goes on we won't get much more new players any time soon... :(

Can anybody help us?

No one else knows of this problem? Really? Can't anyone of the mods here ask a dev maybe? :(

We checked that the whitelist is deactivated and no password on the server. I'm really sorry for pushing this thread but when no one else can join our server then there is no point in having one.

Please, can anyone help us?

I can connect without any problems. If they cannot join the server I think they just did something wrong in the origind mod installation.

Waffeleisen is correct , a LOT of people don't know how to install the mod correctly , they have always relied on DZC and PW6 etc to do it for them , so they can't join because the version is wrong , that is the message you see in the server when those people try to join . Our server is no different .

Oh man, thank you guys sooo much for trying! :) We really thought that something was wrong with our server. Just a minute ago even LFS Support answered us and said the same.

Well, let's hope that the guys from the different launchers fix this soon. ;)
