I would just like to point this out but the MK17 Sniper SD is actually available and lootable inDayZ Origins Mod it can be found at the NATO base North of Vladmir. This gun is in my opinion incredibly rare which is probably why almost everyone thinks it is scripted in.

I have found the gun in a mission before and it is quite rare.
