After the latest up date I've been losing my backpack every few times I logout. Doesn't matter where I am, locked house, middle of nowhere, trader island I'll logout after playing for a few hours and when I log back in my backpack is gone that I've been wearing for days. I haven't been switching backpacks, it will just randomly disappear. I've lost about 12 cermet plates, countless guns, high end backpacks from this bug.
