It would be nice if admins could choose despawn time for houses and buildings. Lower pop servers could set this to a month and busy servers can leave it at default. But i still really like the idea of vacation mode for people who like to play higher pop servers but take vacations that span longer than 2 weeks.

In addition to this... if the vacation mode i.e. 14 days runs out, the door to the building/s should open and be fair game to any upcoming players for a period of 48hrs. After 48 hrs the building/s should despawn to allow other players to build at that location.

Imagine if this player was a hoarder of Sec B loot Happy DayZ!
