Right now for you to trade something on the barter island, you need to gather your stuff in you character (backpack, inventory, primary, secondary weapon) and trade in. If the item you want is too expensive and you dont have enough high valuable items, you wont be able to trade, even tho you have enough items in value that could purchase such item.
So what I`m trying to explain is, you can have 20 AKMs, that you could trade in for a DMR, but you can carry, lets say, a max of 5 AKMs, so you wont be able to trade in those for a DMR. (its just an example)
My suggestion is to add in a currency to the game. Origins Coins
There would be 3 types:
Origins Bronze Coin
Origins Silver Coin
Origins Gold Coin
These could would allow you to 'stock' the amount of stuff you are trading in.
For example: 2 AKMs would wield you 1 Bronze Coins. With 20AKMs you would get 10 Bronze Coins, which you could trade in for an AKM. (Because you would be able to carry those 10 coins)
10 bronze would give you 1 silver and 10 silver would give you 1 gold coin.
I know many people dont like, but it`s a suggestion.

Re: Trading System - Currency
Guys, this is not up to discussion. From day one that the trader was announced it was said that "ther will be no currency" like Dave-it mentioned it.
