Weather changes

I was on Homers server checking it out after chosen 1 basically imploded and really enjoyed some extreme weather I haven't seen for a while tehre. They had implimented the thunder and lightning at night and had some heavy fogs during the day.

chosen 1 was basically cloudy cloudy sunny...cloudy cloudy sunny repeat. I think variation would be welcomed by the players. AS LONG AS WE DON"T get stuck in a rut...I think players would welcome as wide a variety of weather as possible...as much as is available in game....

Thanks for the input, we was considering this as a possible feature. I'm glad to hear that some people will welcome this

I enjoyed the fog, even with everyone complaining about it in chat. Nice to see the admins trying new things to keep the server fresh.

I liked the fog too but I understand that people do not want it on 24/7 so I am going to try to sort it out sof that the fog is on for some of the time

The ideal is a mixed bag...every 4 hours have a mix up if possible

I think that's a good idea. Random and if possible maybe put a limit on the amount of fog. I was in during one period where it seemed difficult to see more than 200m out, I imagine most people would find that too restricting.

It seems that weather will be a certain type for the entire 4 hours till reset...so how about making every second reset sunny and make every other reset either foggy....or foggy and raining...or raining with thunder and lightning etc..but say the ratio being sunny 2 to 1... I believe that would be a good mix..but that's only imho
