with all the new features that are being hinted on the FB page is the RETARDED delay when you have combat Close Quarters going to be fixed or is this an issue that remains with the very shoddy and low budget "Lag Free" Servers hosting? its why sooo many people i know stopped playing origins and im sure many many others it seems to be the same people from the last 6 months hanging around and any newcomers are short lived once they discover the cancer of origins combat (if you dont know what i mean go kill someone in the back of the head with 4 clear headshots he will still have time to turn around and kill you as he dies). If this is fixed and you guys put it out on steam workshop or something im sure this mod will become like it once was (before Epoch beat it)

I have never experience this issue in a low populated server, so, I will assume this issue is only in servers with a lot of players.
From my experience, the delay has been drastically reduced since they introduce the new death screen. In the past few days, I have not experience this issue in INT005 and I play in wifi from the USA. :'(
Have you try checking your connection?
Also, ArmA II OA doesn't support steam workshop. Fortunately, the devs have created a launcher to install and join servers easily and they have improve it since it was release. You should ask your friends to give it a try.

Im on a constant 50mbps connection more than adequete, I dont think a respawn screen can stop a 4 second delay and your right the busier the server the more desync/lag there is but im done shooting zombies in arma 2 3 years ago

That's an ARMA issue, just a delay. If you headshot someone just wait a couple seconds and they will drop.

NO, correction its an origins issue it does NOT happen in any other mod Wasteland, epoch ect ect ONLY origins and in those couple of seconds if its a relatively decent player they will turn and headshot you in return. Ever wondered why there is so many people killing each other in all other mods the delay is TINY in comparison.
