Got the safe from Sabina, useful little thing that - more storage for weapons :)

Been to Martins barracks which was good, done the industrial looting at Ekatingberg which was also good for mats.

So my next areas would be Ivans Lab and Helicrashes... where are these helicrashes and are there bots/guards there or just Zeds? Im finding that I can take on any number of Zeds and be ok, havent had much luck with Bots/Guards as they tend to shoot me before I even see them!

I wouldnt even bother with ivans lab, better guns at martin with less risk.

No bots at the heli crashes only Zs. They spawn randomly at certain places. Just get in a chopper and fly around while keeping an eye out for smoke(or the fire at night). Land your chopper right next to it and no zombies should spawn for a minute or so.

Heli crashes it is the... Im assuming the only gunfire we will come across whilst flying in a chopper are the other choppers patrolling the skies?

I fancied taking Ivans Lab as a practice against bots/guards - unless you can name somewhere better? And don't say sector b :P

Its a good way to practice glitching through a floor and being killed by an ai through 2 concrete walls.... ;)

Ive cleared it plenty of times but it has never been worth the time..... and it doesnt take much time lol.

Ive never had much luck but you can try looting at the UN base on novistrana by Vladimir. Ive heard really good stuff spawns there but it takes a while to farm.

UN base on Novi? Guards/Bots or just Zeds?

Ive been farming heli crashes and got a PDA now which is useful but not really found any decent weapons - is this because I am landing my chopper too close?

Think Ill try the barracks on the small island too!

UN Base Novistrana - No bots, only zombies. The MK16 / MK17 guns can spawn there. Its a very small military, the spawn rates of these guns are extremely low, its totally annoying to loot there and imo its never worth the time.

Its located here, north of Vladimir:

Heli Crashes - The crash and the loot spawns right at server restart, so it doenst matter how close you land your chopper, the loot is already there. It is very smart to land right next to it, because this way the zombies wont spawn. Sometimes the loot is hidden under the crashed chopper. You can crawl under there to get it, be aware, it might brake your legs and kill you.

Ivans Lab - Yup, there is a gliched wall at the stairs. Once you are aware of that you wont fall and die. The bots cant shoot through the walls anymore, well ok, maybe the wooden boxes and the frame of the iron door and the door itself, but the walls are pretty solid now. :D And yes, the textures and models are a bit off, so there are some invisible walls and stuff, but hey, welcome to arma.
Ye, the loot is not really that good, but its a quick boost of humanity. And you get a M249 SAW / M240 everytime and a ~90% chance for a PDA.
