I think that 1.8 dwarfs 1.7.9.5 in comparison in terms of content and the overall scope of the mod.

Trust me, im tired of waiting like everyone else. But the dev team is small and it is not their primary job. They could have waited a bit longer to start releasing the teasers but if they didnt people would be in the dark and think its not being worked on at all which would have a worse effect to the playerbase than people getting restless waiting.

As far as testing time and them testing much longer than the previous patch. 1.8 adds so many complex systems to the mod it will take longer to work out the bugs than doing bug fixes to new vehicles like on the previous patch which i believe was the biggest thing added in 1.7.9.5.

Everyone just be patient and we will get it when its ready. We can post about it all day on here but thats not gonna make ut come any faster. Keep at it devs.

I am looking forward to 1.8, cleared sector B twice last night (and no I didnt do anything but follow orders but at least Ive experienced it now) but I would rather wait for a proper release with less bugs and issues then play a ropey update.

Origins needs to be careful not to release weak updates or they will lose the small community it already has :(

Wont be long now, I hope :)

Keep up the hard work dev guys/gals!

Of course i do understand that 1.8 should be bigger patch than 1.7.9.5 and that 1.8 requires more work but i'm comparing 1.8 to 1.7.9.5 because it was the last major patch for origins.
This is just meant to be a fact file, and it's not meant to take stance on anything.

So we've been almost 3 weeks once again without ANY UPDATES from the dev team. This is great.
