I found Unknown gun parts at a downed heli (I hope they spawn somewhere as well). Nothing on the scope yet.

I've been hitting up most of the military base (Big, Small and everything in between) and haven't found any there. Still early days. I'm going to start checking police / fire stations tomorrow. I really want to make a PKP and a Fusil.

**UPDATE**

Found a Hunting Scope; it was in a deer stand (should have looked there first). Anyway, I've found a pretty good spot to cycle for scopes. There are 6 deer stands within running distance of each other. See the screenshot below;

im wondering if the unknown gun parts are something to do with the mission you can start on traders island

you need 4 unknown gun parts of the same type and some other stuff for the,

- Fusil F2
- Fusil GM SD
- Type64-S

You can get them in this new mission/quest
