I was just looking at the page for 'How to build an Elektro Nest' and it mentions screws and bulbs.
I've haven't found these yet. What buildings do they spawn in ? Or are they Heli Crash / Alien Camp / Sector B only ?

Oh, and can an Elektro Nest be built without having built a chain of other buildings before it ?
IE, can I build one before I even have a Lv1 house ?

These can be found in the lone industrial building on the NW side of Vladamir. There is a trainline running alongside it.

Not sure if he still does, but dr. Ivan has a chance to have a light bulb on him once you kill him.

Dr Ivan, has his pathfinding been dumbed down ? When he's aggroed, he seems to run off into the countryside unless I fire a weapon every 5 seconds to direct him my way.

I have noticed that he isnt as easy to 'lure' as he used to be. I had an issue at the Alien Camp where he didnt follow like the Aliens were. I find that finding him in a town is easier. Just go to Ekateringberg and run between the industrial and truck shops and he will eventually turn up ready to be taken down

You don't have to build something before your lvl 1 hero nested.
Nestends replace the normal houses, so you start with lvl 1.

Oh and you can get screws from missions as rewards too
