Are there any plans to address the community's concerns regarding 1.8 update?

Great ideas, just need tweaking, but would like to know if there any changes being considered.

Due to the hotfix, you were obviously considering changes based on our concerns... thanks for that and we really appreciate it.

Would it be too much to ask for some communication... i.e. tell us you were considering our comments or were working on a hot fix.
