What if they now dropped Origins where it is, or just polish some things up, then moved to ArmA 3. There is a lot more you can do with ArmA 3 and quite frankly it could be very good. They could add new enemies over zombies, kind of like how Epoch did, they could still have a good base building system. The vehicles with it would be fantastic, and the raids would be amazing as well. They could make a new map, Novistrana, or even just use Altis or port over the old Novistrana. Comment please!

But afaik it is not possible to use things from arma2, so they would have to start from scratch...

I really really would like it.

But i think its just way to much work for such a little development team

Yes we are thinking about it, as Arma 2 is getting more and more outdated and Bohemia seems to keep adding more and more Bugs with every new Patch..
But if we do, it would take quite a lot of time, but it has to be done one day for sure. Don't panic now, as it will be still a long time until it's done, as we still have a lot of things to do for the arma 2 origins.

Well, if you take in consideration when arma 2 was released and when Origins came into play, we still got a lot of time.

I remember before the whole "we are stopping developing Origins" drama, I started modeling some buildings, and would love to contribuite with anything to the mod.

Same here, I would definitely be very motivated to learn ArmA 3 scripting just to help contribute to this project if/when it happens. I'd say if it is going to happen, it should happen soon, by soon I mean in late 2015, mods are popping up around now and all, ArmA 3 Life, old ones like Epoch & 2017. I would like to go ahead and see some ArmA 3 Origins mod concepts to start popping up, so if you got any, put em down.
