Is there anyway of running Origins with out steam

I have tried for a couple of days now to play origins i bought a CD key of eBay and tried to activate it with steam and it says its been redeemed on someones account. The CD has not been stole i have had it for about 2 years and this is the only problem with it.

If anyone has a solution please reply.

Dude, you bought it from Ebay!!!! How do you know it has not been used before?
