Battle eye failed to update error

Hello.

I've not played DayZ mod for a year now as I was abroad. I've just got back and decided I wanted to get some Origins played as I used to play on your server a while back and loved it. So I got my stuff all updated (as far as I can see anyway) and done through Steam. When I try to enter your server, just before I get to the character select I get an error saying 'Battle eye failed to update'. This is going through the DayZ launcher. When I use the multiplayer through DayZ mod, I get the can't play on the server because of missing files.

Any ideas?

You need to stay in the lobby. Look at the red messages and it will say that BattlEye is updating. Just wait until it says that it was updated with success. Then you can press OK and join.
