Can join any Origins server but cannot play [SOLVED]

Basically, i followed all the instructions on how to install the mod with steam, now that Dayz Commander won't do it anymore, copied Addons from Arma2's folder, verified integrity of both games, applied the Beta setting in properties and the mod launch options. Problem is i get into the game, i can browse the server list, i can join a server, but shortly after i join it says i have modified data files and everyone has 0ms (0 ping) if i click on OK it gives me the 0kb/0kb retrieving data and game remains stuck, indefinitely i have to close it with task manager, also battle eye is 1.227 latest version, also i get absolutely no error messages, no missing files at startup, i have no idea what to do and what the problem might be, any help would be greatly appreciated.

i had this problem one time - closed everything and it worked for me.
But my mate has also this problem and couldn´t fix it - but i don´t know all the steps he tried (if he tried sth )

There is already a thread with same problem - 2 days ago. For me it seems its Origins related, because many people have this error since few days.

I've read through the forum but i have yet to see such symptoms, maybe somebody comes up with a solution i already reinstalled both arma2 and arma OA twice, and no result.

my advice would be, if you have a friend nearby playing also origins, go to him and get a copy of his whole install. arma and origins etc. this could help. worth a try at least.

Just had a friend of mine with similar symptoms, and he had to download all the files from Battleye manually.
Go to http://www.battleye.com/download.html
Download all the files for Windows under the ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead section:

Copy all the files you downloaded to your Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\Battleye folder
My path looks like this:
C:\Steam3\SteamApps\common\ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEye

He then started the game, and all worked fine, no more freezing in the lobby, no more Battleye errors.

This is a battle eye fix, i used it before to fix my BE issues, although this time its not BE to blame, not sure, but i'll try this, will come back with feedback.

It was me that OldManTim is referring to that had the EXACT same issue as you. I explained to him what I did to fix it as above and it worked for me.

Go to http://www.battleye.com/download.html and make sure you download all of the 3 files and move it to the ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEye folder.

It worked straight away after doing the above.

It is 100% a battle eye issue, while you do not get an error, you will see that the battle messages in red do not update and say what version the server has. The server admins get an error on the logs that says battleye timed out and you was kicked.

Going to confirm this fix, yes it worked as soon as i applied it, i advise anyone having these issues to do the same. Props to everyone for helping.
