Could I build a fortress on the refuel island north of sec b

We would really like to build our clan fortress on that little refuel island north of sec b. Anyone know if it's possible? It looks big enough but Im not sure if the fuel tanks count as a building or not, because they would be pretty close.

I'll tell u right now me and my group used to play on US001 which I believe u are established on and we tried to build Strongholds in random spots aswell, however the spot u are choosing is one that isn't possible due to the Fuel tanks as u said.....I will tell u what works however is the new completely FLAT island at the top left corner of the map... It is a definite build spot if ur really wanting to be that isolated!

Me and my group actually started building there and we're almost at the point where we wanna build our fortress there too.
Problem is, we don't know if the island is going to stay for the next patches or if we'll find ourselfs swimming or within something new that's planned to be there anytime, hehe.

Could a developer leave some words on that?
