Question regarding skill system

Hi,

I'm trying to get Mechanic 1 done but I'm not sure how to see if something is maxed out.

This is a screenshot of my progress:

According to the wiki (https://wiki.originsmod.info/index.php? ... r_progress) a maxed skill shows the checkmark, but I've got a full bar only and nothing happend (already used 20 more scrap metal since maxed bar).

Can anyone tell my if the wiki is right or am I wasting material?

If you click on 'research' below, it will show your progress for each of the mechanic books you have read i.e. How to fix a fuel tank whilst on the move' etc. I believe that these need to be complete before you can move on to mechanic book 2.1.

i have the same problem, please help

my mechanic progress bars at tires, scrap metal, fuel tank parts and windscreens are all maxed out.
the same at all body parts at the zombie cure quest.
but i don' t get any checkmarks except the ones at the books.

what should i do?

You have to continue repairing. After a while the full bar with the 3 gaps will turn into a checkmark. Had worst case scenerios with up to 25 parts in the last stage.
